Corporate Practice

Is there public Trust to business?

The operating principle of the Project is that concerned businesses and stakeholders, all working together toward a common purpose, can build this knowledge base efficiently, empowering leaders to take more effective action.  Business Roundtable will contribute to and participate in the Project through our new Corporate Leadership initiative, and we strongly encourage other leaders and organizations to join us in this worthy effort.

Toyota's case offers hard PR lessons

A Toyota recall was announced in February 2nd, affecting some 2.3 million vehicles, just months after a separate Toyota recall that affected nearly 4 million cars. Toyota says today's recall, which involves a gas pedal issue, is "voluntary." When something bad-large or small-comes to light relating to your organization, alert the media, put it up on your website, put it out on Twitter and all the other social media; disclose it before an outsider hits you with it. Do not listen to your legal department; do not worry about how it happened, or who is at fault; instantly move to make it right. Do the right thing!

My role is to make every communication count...

There is always a Client, so we have to listen and research client's issues. There is always a need for valuable Ideas. There will always be the need for a unique mix of strategic experience, conceptual creativity talent, campaign management, and use of holistic media. This is my arena.
